Luke 19:43-44 [43] For the days will come upon you when your enemies will throw up a barricade against you, and surround you and hem you in on every side, [44] and they will level you to the ground and your children within you, and they will not leave in you one stone upon another, because you did not recognize the time of your visitation.”

Luke 16:8-10 [8] And his master praised the unrighteous manager because he had acted shrewdly; for the sons of this age are more shrewd in relation to their own kind than the sons of light. [9] And I say to you, make friends for yourselves by means of the wealth of unrighteousness, so that when it fails, they will receive you into the eternal dwellings. [10] “He who is faithful in a very little thing is faithful also in much; and he who is unrighteous in a very little thing is unrighteous also in much.

Matthew 7:15-16 [15] “Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. [16] You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes nor figs from thistles, are they?

Mark 8:1-9 [1] In those days, when there was again a large crowd and they had nothing to eat, Jesus called His disciples and *said to them, [2] “I feel compassion for the people because they have remained with Me now three days and have nothing to eat. [3] If I send them away hungry to their homes, they will faint on the way; and some of them have come from a great distance.” [4] And His disciples answered Him, “Where will anyone be able to find enough bread here in this desolate place to satisfy these people?” [5] And He was asking them, “How many loaves do you have?” And they said, “Seven.” [6] And He directed the people to sit down on the ground; and taking the seven loaves, He gave thanks and broke them, and started giving them to His disciples to serve to them, and they served them to the people. [7] They also had a few small fish; and after He had blessed them, He ordered these to be served as well. [8] And they ate and were satisfied; and they picked up seven large baskets full of what was left over of the broken pieces. [9] About four thousand were there; and He sent them away.

Matthew 5:23-24 [23] Therefore if you are presenting your offering at the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, [24] leave your offering there before the altar and go; first be reconciled to your brother, and then come and present your offering.

Luke 6:39-42 [39] And He also spoke a parable to them: “A blind man cannot guide a blind man, can he? Will they not both fall into a pit? [40] A pupil is not above his teacher; but everyone, after he has been fully trained, will be like his teacher. [41] Why do you look at the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? [42] Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, let me take out the speck that is in your eye,’ when you yourself do not see the log that is in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take out the speck that is in your brother’s eye.

Luke 15:5-7 [5] When he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. [6] And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!’ [7] I tell you that in the same way, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.

Luke 14:21-24 [21] And the slave came back and reported this to his master. Then the head of the household became angry and said to his slave, ‘Go out at once into the streets and lanes of the city and bring in here the poor and crippled and blind and lame.’ [22] And the slave said, ‘Master, what you commanded has been done, and still there is room.’ [23] And the master said to the slave, ‘Go out into the highways and along the hedges, and compel them to come in, so that my house may be filled. [24] For I tell you, none of those men who were invited shall taste of my dinner.’”

Luke 16:27-31 [27] And he said, ‘Then I beg you, father, that you send him to my father’s house, [28] for I have five brothers, in order that he may warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.’ [29] But Abraham said, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets; let them hear them.’ [30] But he said, ‘No, father Abraham, but if someone goes to them from the dead, they will repent!’ [31] But he said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be persuaded even if someone rises from the dead.’”

John 3:3-8 [3] Jesus replied, “Amen, Amen, I tell you: Unless someone is born from above, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” [4] Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? He cannot enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born, can he?” [5] Jesus answered, “Amen, Amen, I tell you: Unless someone is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter the kingdom of God! [6] Whatever is born of the Spirit is spirit. [7] Do not be surprised when I tell you that you must be born from above. [8] The wind blows where it pleases. You hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

John 14:26 [26] But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and remind you of everything I told you.

Mark 16:19-20 [19] Then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God. [20] Those who went out preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them and confirmed His word by the signs that accompanied it.

John 16:26-28 [26] In that day you will ask in My name, and I do not say to you that I will request of the Father on your behalf; [27] for the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me and have believed that I came forth from the Father.

John 16:7-11 [8] And He, when He comes, will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment; [9] concerning sin, because they do not believe in Me; [10] and concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father and you no longer see Me; [11] and concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged.

John 16:20 [20] Truly, truly, I say to you, that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; you will grieve, but your grief will be turned into joy.

John 10:1-21 [1] “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter by the door into the fold of the sheep, but climbs up some other way, he is a thief and a robber. [2] But he who enters by the door is a shepherd of the sheep. [3] To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. [4] When he puts forth all his own, he goes ahead of them, and the sheep follow him because they know his voice. [5] A stranger they simply will not follow, but will flee from him, because they do not know the voice of strangers.” [6] This figure of speech Jesus spoke to them, but they did not understand what those things were which He had been saying to them. [7] So Jesus said to them again, “Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. [8] All who came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. [9] I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. [10] The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly. [11] “I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep. [12] He who is a hired hand, and not a shepherd, who is not the owner of the sheep, sees the wolf coming, and leaves the sheep and flees, and the wolf snatches them and scatters them. [13] He flees because he is a hired hand and is not concerned about the sheep. [14] I am the good shepherd, and I know My own and My own know Me, [15] even as the Father knows Me and I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep. [16] I have other sheep, which are not of this fold; I must bring them also, and they will hear My voice; and they will become one flock with one shepherd. [17] For this reason the Father loves Me, because I lay down My life so that I may take it again. [18] No one has taken it away from Me, but I lay it down on My own initiative. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it up again. This commandment I received from My Father.” [19] A division occurred again among the Jews because of these words. [20] Many of them were saying, “He has a demon and is insane. Why do you listen to Him?” [21] Others were saying, “These are not the sayings of one demon-possessed. A demon cannot open the eyes of the blind, can he?”

John 20:31 [31] but these have been written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you may have life in His name.

Mark 16:8 [8] They went out and fled from the tomb, for trembling and astonishment had gripped them; and they said nothing to anyone, for they were afraid.

April 16, 2017 – Sunrise Service

Luke 24:1-7 [1] But on the first day of the week, at early dawn, they came to the tomb bringing the spices which they had prepared. [2] And they found the stone rolled away from the tomb, [3] but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. [4] While they were perplexed about this, behold, two men suddenly stood near them in dazzling clothing; [5] and as the women were terrified and bowed their faces to the ground, the men said to them, “Why do you seek the living One among the dead? [6] He is not here, but He has risen. Remember how He spoke to you while He was still in Galilee, [7] saying that the Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.”

Matthew 21:15-16 [15] But when the chief priests and the scribes saw the wonderful things that He had done, and the children who were shouting in the temple, “Hosanna to the Son of David,” they became indignant [16] and said to Him, “Do You hear what these children are saying?” And Jesus said to them, “Yes; have you never read, ‘Out of the mouth of infants and nursing babies You have prepared praise for Yourself’?”

John 8:54-56 [54] Jesus answered, “If I glorify Myself, My glory is nothing; it is My Father who glorifies Me, of whom you say, ‘He is our God’; [55] and you have not come to know Him, but I know Him; and if I say that I do not know Him, I will be a liar like you, but I do know Him and keep His word. [56] Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad.”

John 6:5-6 [5] Therefore Jesus, lifting up His eyes and seeing that a large crowd was coming to Him, said to Philip, “Where are we to buy bread, so that these may eat?” [6] This He was saying to test him, for He Himself knew what He was intending to do. ”

Luke 11:23 [23] He who is not with Me is against Me; and he who does not gather with Me, scatters.

Matthew 15:22-23 [22] And a Canaanite woman from that region came out and began to cry out, saying, “Have mercy on me, Lord, Son of David; my daughter is cruelly demon-possessed.” [23] But He did not answer her a word. And His disciples came and implored Him, saying, “Send her away, because she keeps shouting at us.”

Matthew 4:8-10 [8] Again, the devil took Him to a very high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory; [9] and he said to Him, “All these things I will give You, if You fall down and [a]worship me.” [10] Then Jesus said to him, “Go, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and serve Him only.’”

February 26, 2017

Luke 18:40-43 [40] And Jesus stopped and commanded that he be brought to Him; and when he came near, He questioned him, [41] “What do you want Me to do for you?” And he said, “Lord, I want to regain my sight!” [42] And Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight; your faith has made you well.” [43] Immediately he regained his sight and began following Him, glorifying God; and when all the people saw it, they gave praise to God.

Luke 8:13-15 [13] Those on the rocky soil are those who, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no firm root; they believe for a while, and in time of temptation fall away. [14] The seed which fell among the thorns, these are the ones who have heard, and as they go on their way they are choked with worries and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to maturity. [15] But the seed in the good soil, these are the ones who have heard the word in an honest and good heart, and hold it fast, and bear fruit with perseverance.

Matthew 20:13-16 [13]But he answered and said to one of them, ‘Friend, I am doing you no wrong; did you not agree with me for a denarius? [14] Take what is yours and go, but I wish to give to this last man the same as to you. [15] Is it not lawful for me to do what I wish with what is my own? Or is your eye envious because I am generous?’ [16] So the last shall be first, and the first last.”

February 5, 2017

Matthew 17:6-8 [6] When the disciples heard this, they fell face down to the ground and were terrified. [7] And Jesus came to them and touched them and said, “Get up, and do not be afraid.” [8] And lifting up their eyes, they saw no one except Jesus Himself alone.

January 29, 2017

Matthew 8:5-13[5] And when Jesus entered Capernaum, a centurion came to Him, imploring Him, [6] and saying, “Lord, my servant is lying paralyzed at home, fearfully tormented.” [7] Jesus said to him, “I will come and heal him.” [8] But the centurion said, “Lord, I am not worthy for You to come under my roof, but just say the word, and my servant will be healed. [9] For I also am a man under authority, with soldiers under me; and I say to this one, ‘Go!’ and he goes, and to another, ‘Come!’ and he comes, and to my slave, ‘Do this!’ and he does it.” [10] Now when Jesus heard this, He marveled and said to those who were following, “Truly I say to you, I have not found such great faith with anyone in Israel. [11] I say to you that many will come from east and west, and recline at the table with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven; [12] but the sons of the kingdom will be cast out into the outer darkness; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” [13] And Jesus said to the centurion, “Go; it shall be done for you as you have believed.” And the servant was healed that very moment.

John 2:11 [11] This beginning of His signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory, and His disciples believed in Him.

January 15, 2017

Luke 2:21-24 [48] When they saw Him, they were astonished; and His mother said to Him, “Son, why have You treated us this way? Behold, Your father and I have been anxiously looking for You.” [49] And He said to them, “Why is it that you were looking for Me? Did you not know that I had to be in My Father’s house?” [50] But they did not understand the statement which He had made to them. [51] And He went down with them and came to Nazareth, and He continued in subjection to them; and His mother treasured all these things in her heart. [52] And Jesus kept increasing in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.

January 8, 2017

Matthew 2:10-11 [10] When they saw the star, they rejoiced exceedingly with great joy. [11] After coming into the house they saw the Child with Mary His mother; and they fell to the ground and worshiped Him. Then, opening their treasures, they presented to Him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.

January 1, 2017

Luke 2:21-24 [21] And when eight days had passed, before His circumcision, His name was then called Jesus, the name given by the angel before He was conceived in the womb. [22] And when the days for their purification according to the law of Moses were completed, they brought Him up to Jerusalem to present Him to the Lord [23] (as it is written in the Law of the Lord, “Every firstborn male that opens the womb shall be called holy to the Lord”), [24] and to offer a sacrifice according to what was said in the Law of the Lord, “A pair of turtledoves or two young pigeons.”
